What kind of payment does Nail by Toe Bro accept?

We accept Cash, Debit, MasterCard and Visa.

Are taxes included in the prices listed?

Taxes are not included in the prices listed.

Do you accept walk-ins?

We book by appointments. This way we can allocate enough time to provide the comprehensive experience and quality you deserve.

What is your cancellation policy? 

Please notify us at least 24 hours for cancellations, or 48 hours for parties over 2. Failure to do so or, “no show” will result in a cancellation fee of 50% of total service booked. The cancellation fee will be added onto your profile and payable during your next visit at our salon.

What happens if I am running late for my appointment? 

Please notify us as soon as possible if you know you are running late. We hold appointment times for 15 minutes. If you are over 15 minutes late, the appointment is either modified or cancelled. If the appointment is cancelled, it will be considered a “no-show”.

Do you provide any type of warranty for your services?

We have a one week guarantee for our gel services. If your gel polish chips within 7 days of your service, we will fix it free of charge. This does not guarantee our regular polish services. An appointment must be made within the first week (7 days).

Do I require a deposit to book an appointment?

For new clients (clients that haven’t visited us within the last 6 months, and parties over 2 people), we require a 50% deposit of the cost of services prior to completing an appointment booking. Any cancellations on parties over 2 have a 48 hr cancellation notice limit. The deposit is non-refundable if cancellation occurs within the 48-hour cancellation period. A 15% gratuity charge is added on top of parties over 2 people.

Why is a deposit required?

As we are an appointment only salon, we require a deposit to secure your spot as the service time is reserved specifically for your comfort and our ability to provide the best quality service. “No shows” and appointment cancellations can’t be filled due to late notice, leaving us with an open unfilled availability.

Do the nail technicians wear PPE? 

Yes! Our technicians wear gloves, masks , shields and gowns to protect the client and themselves. With COVID-19 we have added additional protection and placed plexi- glass in our manicure and pedicure stations as well as implement screening & temperature measuring before the client enters the salon. 

How do you disinfect your manicure tools/ maintain a sanitary environment?

We disinfect and sterilize using only the methods prescribed by the Ontario Ministry of Health. After a thorough scrub with a disinfectant and water, all used instruments go through a medical grade instrument washer that uses a strong chemical disinfectant. Once washed, all instruments are then packaged in sterilization pouches and run through our autoclave.   During our nails services, we employ one time use wooden spatulas, nail brushes, nail buffer pads and spacers. We NEVER re-use them. Our spa towels are replaced in between clients and are washed with bleach. Our environment well ventilated and all services stations are cleaned multiple times throughout the day, and always in-between clients. All nail polish applications are performed using our hygienic method of pouring the base coat, top coat and colour into individual bottles and one time use nail polish brushes. WE DO NOT SHARE nail polish or brushes! We take pride in our spotless spa atmosphere and it is our pleasure to provide you with treatments that are, not only fabulous and long lasting, but also safe. Relax, you’re in good hands.

Do you use disposable items? 

Yes! Every client is provided with disposable items that will NEVER be used on other clients. That also includes pre-pouring our polishes into individual bottles specific for the client. Once used we dispose of the bottles or the client can take them home. Additionally our manicure and pedicure pouches are also thrown out or given to the client to take home. 

If I have a fungal infection or a wart, is it safe to go to the salon?

Yes! Our highly trained technicians, know how to work around the area and educate you on what products/ additional services you may need to improve the fungal infection or wart.

What nail polish brands do you use?

Dazzle Dry: Dazzle Dry is a unique four-step system that delivers advanced performance without the use of harsh chemicals. Benefits include:

Do you charge extra for gel polish removal?

If your gel polish was applied by us, there will be no charge. If not, there will be a $10 fee to remove gel polish.

Will UV gel polish harm my nails?

Gel manicure should never harm your natural nails. With our trained technicians, proper prep, application and removal, your nails should remain in same or better condition. 

Do you do acrylic nails or nail enhancements?

As of right now, we do not offer acrylic nails or enhancements as our current business focus is on promoting the health and maintenance of feet and hands. However, it is a service we’re planning on providing in the future.

How long does it take for nail polish to dry?

With our highly advanced nail polish brand, Dazzle Dry, once applied, only takes a total of 5 minutes to fully air dry and set. No need to worry about being careful with your nails afterwards. With our gel polish brand OPI once applied and cured the nails are ready.

Do you sell gift cards?

Gift certificates are available to be purchased online or in store. For online certificates, you can e-mail us at info@nailsbytoebro.com. Please subject the email “Purchase gift card” and you can let us know in the body of the email the amount you wish to purchase. The gift card will be sent as a printable voucher through e-mail.
